the sound is awesome, good pickups come on there, i always like humbuckers, there deep, yet very clean and sound great though a good amp, its awesome for metal yet clean enough for soft verses er wutever u want

yea, um there arent many features but im sure your not gonna buy this guitar fer that, it only has volume and tone knobs, and there kool but nothing great, great for the money though

one of the wires connecting to teh thing that holds the cable when u plug the cable into the guitar broke in two, but i easily soddered it back on( no big deal i gess, i thought it was at teh time but thats a common problem) not big deal, i still like this guitar

For what you pay, this thing sounds good. No complaints. The pickups are pretty sensitive, and even moreso when they're distorted.

Features

Hey, it's a $150 guitar. They could have put a Vintage Strat trem on it, but beginners won't be concentrating on pounding on a whammy bar like Dimebag as soon as they pull it out of the box.

Ease of Use

The neck is fast, the high register frets are easy to reach, and the tuners keep their tune pretty well for a $150 piece. It's also comfortable in sitting or standing positions.

Quality

B.C. Rich's Warlocks have bodies that are hard as a rock. Their necks are average for guitars, but their bodies simply will NEVER break.

Value

$150 for a piece of equipment which isn't nearly mediocre compared to a Strat copy is $150 well spent.

Looks awfully nice on stage. You won't be playing a guitar like this on stage, but the higher-end Warlocks look just as nice as the low-end ones.

I own a 1979 Gibson SG and a 1995 Fender Strat. I bought this one to use with out worrying about banging on it, or dropping it. Sure it doesn't compare to the other two, but I can tell it plays and sounds great for the price! I had Joe Bonamassa sign it! Now I treasure it as a collectable.

If you are looking for a guitar for a nice death metal sound this guitar does it. I picked it up and started playing it and it changed my mind about fenders and all the other guitars out there. To me the other brand guitars are okay but the B.C. Rich Bronze Warlock has a killer sound for those who like to headbang.

The accessories that I had gotten with the guitar were just the basic things that you need to start off playing guitar.

I had dropped and swung this guitar and still it is playable and sounds like when I had first bought it.

The price of this guitar is a reasonable price to pay because other guitars you pay for the name.

sounds pretty awesome considering i have a epiphony neck pickup and a gibson bridge pickup....yes i know it didnt come this way nor did i put it this way, buoght it from a pawnshop so yeah...

pretty basic, as for most guitars 1 volume knob, one tone knob, and a 3 way one selector

as for any guitar, you need to adjuxt to what you like, really right off the bat it was as easy to play as my start, and with some adjusting on the bridge, and GHS light strings became even easier

this thing is battle scarred, dropped, thrown stepped on, i mean damn, my strat would have broken if it faced the same events. hell you could use this thing as a weapon is soo damn tough

as far as i know, it dosen't come with accessories. i would suggest a small, afordable, but not cheeply made amp, and a few picks. a strap would be nice, but not nessisary.

i don't own the guitar, although i'd like to. a verry good friend of mine that i jam with does however. he does all the upgraids himself, and has never had a problim with it, and never had a nead to contact the company. everything accembly line produces defects now and then. it can't be avoided. but i myself have never been told about any defective guitars.

ofcoruse this is a really opionated question, but to me, i love the way the guitar looks. personally i like the black, but i think if you had it airbrushed with some cool designs it would make it REALLY hot nomatter what color it is.

Very responsive I was suprised at how comfortable the warlock is to play. Good for metal the clean tone has a good range. If you buy one get a big amp the louder it is the better it sounds.

The sound is pretty good especialy considering that this guitar is only 200 dollars. The maple body doesn't resonate as well as mohogany by any stretch of the imagination, but it's not bad for beginners.

Pretty standard, Volume, Tone, and a 3 way switch...same thing as my 1st guitar (a squier duo-sonic *Retired*)

Ease of Use

This guitar can do plenty, if you put higher gauge strings on this, and raise the asjustable bridge up, you can down tune like mad.

Quality

You get what you pay for, it's no Dean or Jackson, but it'll get a beginer up to speed and provide plenty of good practice. Not a show guitar, but fairly reliable.

compairitively, it's a decent buy, for 200 bucks, it's not a rip off.

The sound is very good for heavy metal. Sort of metallic. It sounds a lot nicer than my Jackson dinky or ibanez . I haven't used it much yet so I'm not sure how long it will stay in tune.

It has simple features found on many other models of this class yet not so many features as on other higher grade warlocks.

Ease of Use

It's easy to play because of the large frets. I found it somewhat easier to hit the chords than on some other guitars of it's class. The fretboard is smooth and nice. I find the body uncomfortable when sitting down. Basically, the pointy shape will dig into your chest. If you're a beginner and plan to practice a lot sitting down, I wouldn't recommend this shape. When Standing up, it's less of a fatigue.

Quality

The quality is alright although the attention to detail is not there which is expected. You pretty much get what you pay for no matter what. The strings are very poor. They will break on you in no time. Would I suggest anyone depend on this guitar on Stage? Of course not. Like I mentioned, I've only had this guitar for a short while, so far so good but I'm not going to be suprised if some parts fail on me tomorrow.

The price was good. I paid $150, it was brand new. I wouldn't pay more than $200 though.

This is, without question, the absolute worst guitar I have ever played. The soumd quality is terrible and the strings constantly need tuning. B.C. Rich has wholly and entirely let me down with this product. There is no force on the cosmic plane that could make this product sound any better no matter how many effects you use to cover up the terrible sound.

This is the ultimate in metal and rock, being the #1 choice of players such as Slipknot's Mick Thompson. This guitar can produce meloies like a bird, or, for those of you who prefer the more thrashy sound, it can produce uber-distorted death metal tones like nothing I've ever heard before.

The pickups are nice, but if you're looking for real features, go for the Platinum series. Way better.

I've played fender, I've played gibson, I've played dean, I've played just about every big-name guitar there is, but I've never been able to do as much on a guitar as I can on my B.C. Rich Warlock.

The Platinum series is better, but the bronze (shown) is better for a beginner, lots of playability, not a lot of money.

Made very well. Very sturdy. If you drop it or bang it against something it doesnt leave much of a dent or scratch. After 3 weeks my top pickup screw always comes lose and gets stuck under it. It takes 15 mins to fix it.

Hook it up to a distortion pedal and a Crate double stack and she wil melt faces!

The pickups are really awesome. I replaced them with Emg 81 (bridge) and Emg 85 (Neck) because I am a professional player and Emg's give me the sound I need, but the pickups that come with it are great for anyone looking to start playing metal-style electric guitar

Sound

I can't believe that anyone can rate the sound of this guitar as being good or "awesome dude". Compare the sound to other brands. I think you will agree with me that the sound is just bad.

Features

The product came in a package: 15 W amp, strap, and bag. The bag is very cheap compared to what you can buy for 45 bucks. The amp just doesn't cut it. The strap is so cheap, you'd be embarrassed to use it.

Quality

This is an incredibly poor quality guitar. We had one repaired four times within 6 months and the store finally gave up and replaced it with another BC Rich Warlock. That one lasted a week. The store then gave us our money back to buy something else.

Value

It really isn't worth the money. You will surely be disappointed. The only way this guitar is salvageble is to completely change the electronics. But then again, you can find better brands for the same money.

Yes I have. I can only say the BC Rich acted as if the problems with this guitar were everybody elses fault and not BC Rich's. As I read somewhere, BC Rich barely admitted they made the guitar, let alone taking any responsibility. All the problems we had were addressed by the store because BC Rich would not take any responsibility. BC Rich's customer relattions are quite frankly, deplorable.

Newver would I ever buy a BC Rich product again. Not because I think all BC Rich guitars are bad, in fact I'm sure they make some quality products, but because of BC Rich's product support.

Alright quality. pick ups could be a little better and bridge less harsh on strings.

Pretty good value and a perfect beginner guitar. it was my first guitar and is still used.

Plugged it into a little 30 watt Crate combo and the sound is sooo metal.

This is the reason I'm filling out this review. Got the original guitar and it had a big chip in the paint so I called to return it. This company rocks! They could not have been nicer and I got the replacement the next day at like 2 pm. I couldn't believe it. Support is incredible.

good value for a starter...waste of money if you'll only use it for a year...if you want a more long term guitar save for a Jackson or ESP thats what i'm getting next

The only thing I didn't like on this guitar was that the bass was too boosted (I'm a treble guy). I put a DiMarzio X2N and a Multibucker on and it's rippin' !

It's got everything I need for all I care.Aganthis body, Maple neck, Rosewood fretboard.It just doesn't have a floyd rose, but you're looking at a BRONZE SERIES guitar, not a Platinum...It rocks anyway!

I Have it for 2 years. It has survived many, many falls, a plane trip in a gig bag and everything else in one piece. Great construction. Super reliable!

this guitar is awesome! i played guitars before this so i knew a few things, and all my friends thought the guitar was gonna sound like a peice of crap cuz the price was so cheap, once i played for them they thought it was kick ass. for me i dont use it for any songs that have tapping so i just make songs with out it. i love how i can get the heavy metal sound on it, i always free-style with it, and i can make my solos kick ass!!!

i really think that a strap could've come with it and maybe a cable cord to plug into the amp. the knobs give me such a selection of sound so its a good thin i have those on it. i really think that they should put a knob for distortion features and not just the tone and volume.

Quality

the cord connection gets loose sometimes, but you really only have to tighten it every 3 days to 2 weeks. i am definetly gonna use this guitar for my shows. it would shock the audience with its killer sound.

Value

when i took one look at this guitar, the first thing that popped into my mind was "that probably costs $500". but for this guitar, it has the best price i have ever seen for a crazy lookin guitar.

the two knobs did come loose once, but that was no problem for me, i just had to take them off and tighten it on the inside, now its gonna stay tight for a longer time because the factory didnt really tighten it up enough, but that was just for my guitar.

i aint kiddin about this, but when i brought it to a hang-out kinda place, i played it, the girls heard it, and they were very in to it. that really makes this guitar a sexy thing.

The guitar falls apart very fast. When I got it, the pickups started to go out of place and the input jack wasnt fitting right.
